Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the social responsibility of SONATRACH and the role in boosting development efforts and the support for various solidarity campaigns during the health and economic crisis that Algeria experienced during the year 2020 due to of the COVID-19 pandemic, which the company demonstrated during the year with many initiatives despite the significant drop in its revenues due to the drop in oil prices on international markets.

The study found that SONATRACH continued to adhere to social responsibility as a corporate citizen towards its workers, society and the state during the COVID-19 pandemic despite the sharp drop in oil prices, which made of the company a national model of commitment in terms of social responsibility that other Algerian public and private companies should emulate.
