This study aims to shed light on sovereign wealth funds in oil-producing countries, especially after the rise in oil prices in global markets.

Algeria established a revenue control fund in the year 2000 in order to benefit from the actual surplus of oil collection revenues.

Controlling public revenues for the state and achieving the goals set for it, and the study concluded that the Revenue Control Fund has a major role in reducing indebtedness and financing the treasury deficit, and that the resources of the Revenue Control Fund are affected by external factors, the most important of which is the fluctuations of oil prices in global markets, and the success of this fund in financing the deficit was effective, but it was subject to external variables
