Abstract EN

Separation and connection is an important rhetorical phenomenon, which works to link the sentences in the Arabic structures, to achieve harmony in the discourse, as it contributes to clarifying the purposes of the addressees, and communicating their meanings to their recipients.

this phenomenon has received great attention from his commanders on the part of the Arab rhetoric, including al-Razi, who made it perform according to pragmatic data that enables the speaker to produce the meaning on the one hand, and helps the recipient (the listener) to interpret this meaning as well as its interpretation.

for this reason, this study seeks to demonstrate its pragmatic dimensions and linguistic perceptions, which are related to intent and use, based on a description and analysis methodology.
