The seventh century is the century in which the Arab and Greek cultures were mixed, which led to the emergence of an Arab-Moroccan rhetorical school whose pioneers were influenced by Aristotelian logic, and then appeared scholars who tried to establish new rules for critical and rhetorical study, most notably Hazem Al-Cartagini.who lived in an era marked the chaos of creativity, in which poetry became a source of silliness, poets became involved in it without knowledge, the weakness of poetry led to the weakness of criticism, and this made Hazem Al-Cartagini compose his book " Minhaj al-Boulaghaa wa Siraj al-Oudabaa" in order to raise them to the level of theory based on the correct foundations, thus we will try in this study to highlight the most important references to which Hazem AlCartaginireturned,and dive to seek what helped him in his theoretical project.
