Abstract EN

There is no doubt that the specificity of the medical activity makes its practice contains a great amount of sensitivity, because it is an activity that is practiced on human body which necessitates a big care.

This fact makes the medical profession a human, ethical and scientific profession.

Through its long history, it acquired a number of customary, habits, principles and rules, to which science has added norms and constants that practitioner must takes into consideration and respects the will of the patient and his human dignity, and preserves his right to physical integrity in all circumstances.

From then, the medical practice stands on a number of obligations of a technical, human or ethical type that we will explain by following, in details, its evolution on the light of a number of obligations ending by trying to find whether the new Algerian Health Law N° 18/11 has contained legal rules that carry enough obligations of human character including the ethical values which have been put in a legislative shape in a way that draws borders of the commitments related to medical humanity.
