Abstract EN

The purpose of this essay is to discuss the woman’ poetry as a concept by trying to know the process of this literature through the different historical phases that did not recognize this poetry because of the influence of religious and politic principles in the Arab world as well as in the occident .

The essay also focuses on the ancient system of ideas that may have been present in the background of a number of ideas of some Arab literary symbols of our modernism; we found some declarations like: women is an inferior creature to men so she must imitate his styles and themes, contemporary literary criticism is discussing rather the femininity of the text in itself, and the text which exceeds this classic duality.
