Tourism, is one of the most dynamic and most job intensive sectors of our times, it has been one of the hardest hit by the current crisis.

Millions of livelihoods are at stake and need to be supported.

The main objective of this paper, is to determine the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on the tourism industry on African's countries in general, we focused on Kenya as one of the most attractive destination in our continent, the challenges they faced after the Covid 19 outbreak, the strategies adopted to overcome those challenges in the short- Medium and long-term to minimize the global economic shocks due to the pandemic.
