Rural development has a great importance within the policies and programs of international institutions, as it is considered the base of the development process in social and economic field of rural people's life.

It seeks to advance and develop rural society and improve its quality of life.

Therefore, this study aims to clarify and examine the role of the International Fund for Agricultural Development projects in developing the rural areas of the Maghreb countries.
