Abstract EN

The study was based on the theory of prioritization within the functional perspective, and dealt with the publicationsofthe official page of "Elheddaf" newspaperon the Facebook social networking site, represented by a sample of its publications from January 01, 2021 to April 30, 2021, and this is to answer the following main question: How did the Facebook page "El Heddaf" posts address sports topics during the study period in terms of form and content? In the study, we relied on the descriptive survey method and on content analysis as a tool to collect data, which enabled us to reach several results, the most important of which is that football topics were at the forefront of the contents of the page, as it focused on the personalities that have a relationship with this topic, including players and coaches, and the page dealt with various Sports topics using multimedia such as pictures and videos, as well as links to its official website.
