Abstract EN

Praise be to Allah Who made us the ways of right and guided us via the light of the Glorious Quran, the Arabic Book, and blessings and peace be upon the Prophet and his family and companions.

This research deals with the study of the verb ( semantically and syntactically.

It is divided in accordance with the following grammatical structures: 1-the active and passive verbs in forms of ( past and present ), the time reference and meaning of the verb often change when there is a relative clause or when it combines with particles like (لما, , قد, إذ, ما, لن, لا) 2-the base form of the verb and the effect of both co-text and context in determining the functional meaning as we shall see through the analysis of some Quranic verses in three cases: nominative, accusative and jussive 3- the denotation of the Quranic use of the stem (م, ل, ظ) rhyming with (fa'il) as it is used with the definite article (ال) and added to other structures 4- exaggeration formulas and the denotation of the stem of the verbThis study is concluded with the results arrived at by the researcher and a list of references.
