Abstract EN

al-Jurjānī divided eloquent speech into two types: one type whose advantage is ascribed to words, and another type where the advantage is ascribed to composing.

the first type relates to euphemism, metaphor and representation which are revolved around connotation, widening and deviating a word from its superficial meaning.

the advantage, according to the second type, is ascribed to composing which means: arranging words according to their relation to each other.

depending on this division, i try to establish a relation between the speech violation of its own composing rules from the point of view of al-Jurjani.
