This study aimed to highlight the seriousness of disruptive environmental problems, especially pollution, and the new trend towards integrating the environmental dimension in addition to achieving economic growth.
The study relied on the descriptive and analytical approach, as the study focused on environmental taxation as one of the successful ways to achieve economic growth in an environment free from Pollution, highlighting the Algerian experience in the field of environmental taxation by clarifying its most important types, and the study found that environmental taxation has an important role in directing resources towards environmental sustainability.
However, measuring the impact of environmental taxation on economic growth is not possible, especially for Algeria, given that its application is newly established
