This work represents a contribution to the analysis of institutions and economic development.
Thus, we have attempted through this modest work to find a possible effect of institutions on economic growth in the case of Algeria.
For this purpose, we carried out an econometric study, using the ARDL model, by the GDP per capita as a dependent variable end Property Rights, Financial Freedom and Business Freedom as explanatory variables.
The results of the model show in the short terme a negatif significant effect of property rights and financial freedom on GDP per capita and a positif significant effect of business freedom on GDP per Capita.

Ce travail se veut une contribution à l'analyse des institutions et du développement économique.
Ainsi, nous avons tenté à travers ce modeste travail à chercher un éventuel impact des institutions sur la croissance économique dans le cas de l'Algérie.
Pour cela, nous avons procédé à une étude économétrique via le modèle ARDL en prenant le PIB par habitant comme variable à expliquer et les droits de propriété, la liberté financière et la liberté des affaires comme variables explicatives.
Les résultats du modèle montrent un impact significatif négatif des droits de propriété et de la liberté financière sur le PIB par habitant, et un effet significatif positif de la liberté des affaires sur le PIB par habitant.
