This study aims to trace the reality of intercultural communication practices within the framework of the foreign partnership of Europactore/Algerie and Somatel Liebherr, by identifying the main sources of misunderstandings that create communication difficulties, by adopting the dimensions presented by Edward Hall in his approach In terms of language, context, time and place, in addition to knowing the most important competencies of communication between the cultures of managers in the institutions under study, according to a descriptive analytical approach in the case study method, we relied on the interview tool to collect information that was conducted with managers in these institutions.

The study concluded that the difference in the use of verbal and non-verbal language, and the difference in the interpretation of space and the evaluation of time have an impact on misunderstanding and interpretation at the beginning of the partnership, but over time and constant friction creates a ground for understanding and habit and there becomes mutual respect and interpretation of different behaviors, as we have noted The members of the sample acquire some of the competencies of communication between cultures, such as cultural awareness and some personal skills, especially for managers, and stressed the need to manage the challenges and no return when starting work in partnership, whether in the technical or cultural aspect.
