Abstract EN

This study aims to demonstrate the position of governance within the banking collapses during the period 1994-2010, as the giant financial institutions collapsed during the study period as a result of the rampant financial corruption in them.

The study found several results, including an increase in interest in governance as a result of financial crises, as bank collapses proved that among the most important reasons for the bankruptcy and collapse of companies and financial institutions are the lack of disclosure and transparency in financial statements and reports on the one hand, and the ence of internal control systems.
