This study aims to clarify the requirements and dimensions of sustainable development in the Islamic economy, by clarifying the concept of sustainable development from the point of view of the Islamic economy, in addition to presenting the nature of the green economy and its relationship to the main sustainable development as well as the controls and approach of the Islamic economy in preserving the environment in addition to addressing the most important pioneering experiences globally In the green economy represented by the European Union's vision on the green economy 2050, and presenting the developments and the reality of green products globally.

However, the study concluded that the green economy does indeed create a new approach to development, in line with the needs of sustainable development.

However, there is still a need to fully explore its potential and know how to integrate it into the Islamic economic system.
