Abstract EN

Identity consists of a set of common principles that are recognized by the members of society, such as history, one destiny, cultural heritage, religion, traditions and customs, all the way to the language that we call the mother language and it is one of the fixed elements of identity, this language binds us to ourselves and connects with others; The facts, observing the variables and transferring human experiences as they are, then it is necessary to acknowledge the existence of the other, which is different from us in language, thought and culture.

Acknowledging the other does not necessarily mean showing off your values, language or thoughts, thinking that they are the best, the safest and most recent.

What concerns us in this present research is to address the issue of language as a system of idiomatic signs that individuals belonging to one language group can communicate with each other through it, and the intended group here is the Algerian language group and its reflection on identity.
