Insurance has developed like other economic activities, which has led Muslim scholars to search for the purpose of reaching the optimal images for it that do not deal with interest or harm.

These efforts have resulted in the (Islamic) insurance system adopted by Islamic insurance companies as an alternative to commercial insurance, which Algeria is trying to adopt.

That is why this research aims to know the challenges and problems that Algeria faces in the application of takaful insurance as an alternative to traditional insurance to finance the national economy, as we have concluded that dealing with this type of insurance faces a set of challenges that stand in the way of its spread and weaken its contribution to the national economy, which requires standing up and facing it
