Abstract EN

The issue of forced migration in Iraq is of great importance due to its repercussions on the various aspects of economic, political, social, cultural, and security life.

It is an indication of the political and security instability the country suffers from and has serious consequences on the unity of the social fabric due to the fact that this phenomenon has drawn a new ethnographic map that will be used by some political agendas to divide Iraq.

The importance of this article is to shed some light on the phenomenon of forced emigration to the province of Babylon through investigating its volume, orientations, main motives, and consequences.

Finally, it puts forward some possible solutions to reduce its negative effect.
