Abstract EN

The subject of this research aims to reveal the procedures of the French colonial administration concerning Maghreb pilgrimage between the two world wars (1919-1945 AD), by evoking the circumstances and the reasons of the interest of the French authority of pilgrimage to its colonies in the Maghreb countries (Tunisia - Algeria - Morocco), as well as stopping at the developments which accompanied these measures, by which France tried to supervise the pilgrimage as a religious rite practiced outside frontiers of his control.

The problematic of this issue examines the types of methods that the French colonial administration practiced in its handling of the conduct of the maghreb pilgrims during the two world wars between establishing laws and not allowing their performance or monitoring them to use effective methods
