Abstract EN

This study focuses on the reality of international public law related to the impact of the use of weapons based on modern technologies on international humanitarian law, and Islamic jurisprudence.

This study consists of three sections, the first is introducing modern technologies.

The second is adapting the use of weapons, and the third is the general rules of Islamic jurisprudence regarding the use of weapons.

One of the most important results of this study is the existence of a consensus between international humanitarian law and Islamic jurisprudence in permitting the use of modern technologies in manufacture those weapons, but on the condition that they are not used in attacking protected persons in accordance with Islamic jurisprudence and international law.
