The present paper aims to highlight the most eminent features of American foreign policy under President Donald Trump.

Focus will be put on the ideas, perceptions, and attitudes that the policy adopted toward international issues and crises, especially those in the Middle East that are pivotal to American influence.

We show the extent of change and influence that accompanied these trends compared to the traditional policy of the United States, whether in terms of political discourse or actual embodiment of these discursive trends on the ground.

We conclude by discussing the implications of these policies and security arrangements on the countries of the region.
