Furuncular Myiasis is a common cutaneous disease in tropical areas with poor sanitary facilities.

This case report of a 41-year-old Jordanian officer working with the United Nations Peace-Keeping Forces in Sierra Leone – Africa, highlights the importance of prompt diagnosis and proper management of this disease acquired when traveling to tropical countries.
