The present study aimed to know the trends of second year students of psychology towards their specialization in the Faculty of Social Sciences in.

Laghouat University Where the scale of "Student Trends Towards the Psychology Specialization Prepared by the Researcher" was adopted and applied to a sample of 150 students, who were chosen in a simple random way from the second year students of psychology at the University of Laghouat, for the academic year 2019 / 2020 AD.

An exploratory descriptive approach was used that is appropriate to the nature of the study.

The results of the study showed that the students 'trends are positive towards the specialization of psychology, as they have shown differences in the trends towards the specialization of psychology : between (both sexes) and (students directed by their desire for this specialization and directed without desire) and (students with different specialization in the secondary scientific or litera).
