La théorie historico-culturelle et la didactique professionnelle : quelles articulations et quels apports?

Relationships with others, mediation, interactions seem to be unanimous in all fields of knowledge and more precisely in the field that challenges us and in which we are part: the educational field.

Indeed, in an era of globalization, the abolition of borders, withdrawal into oneself, exclusion or even the absence of communication and, in so doing, of socialization cannot continue to characterize human relationships.

The “socio” dimension therefore takes on its full significance, we learn with others, thanks to others, this openness and this movement towards the Other, towards the social group has led us to subscribe to the work of Vygotsky (1897 / 1934) who devoted the majority of his work to mediation with others and interactions with the social group.

In this article, we will present the historical-cultural approach, we will then show the contributions of Vygotsky’s theory to professional didactics and, in doing so, to the continuing professional didactics and, in doing so, to the in-service and initial training of teachers

Les rapports aux autres, la médiation, les interactions semblent faire l'unanimité dans tous les champs de la connaissance et plus précisément dans le champ qui nous interpelle et dans lequel nous nous inscrivons: le champ éducatif.

En effet, dans une ère de globalisation, d'abolition des frontières, le repli sur soi, la mise à l'écart voire l'absence de communication et, ce faisant, de socialisation ne peuvent continuer à caractériser les rapports humains.

La dimension « socio » prend, dès lors, toute sa signification: nous apprenons avec autrui, grâce à autrui.

Cette ouverture et ce mouvement vers l'Autre, vers le groupe social nous a amenée à nous inscrire dans les travaux de Vygotsky (1897/ 1934) qui a consacré à la médiation avec autrui et aux interactions avec le groupe social la majorité de son œuvre.

Dans cet article, nous allons présenter l'approche historico-culturelle, nous montrerons ensuite les apports de la théorie de Vygotsky à la didactique professionnelle et, ce faisant, à la formation continue et initiale de enseignants.
