The interest of This research consists in studying the correlation between irregular immigration and self-esteem among young people, so we tried to assess the levels of self-esteem among young people.

This study was conducted with 30 young applicants for irregular immigration, in the wilaya of Oran, and whose age varies between 16-30 years to verify the hypotheses we applied Cooper Smith's self-esteem inventory which indirectly explores the subject's to himself The results obtained relationship highlighted a low self-esteem which results in an inability to bond with others leading to being neglected or even rejected by others Faced with the explosion of the phenomenon of irregular immigration, psychological support should be systematic.
