JEL: I 23; L 14; L 24This study aims to clarify the importance of activating the partnership between the university and the industrial sector in Algeria, given the role of the university in revitalizing the industrial sector, and because their partnership is a way to achieve progress, technology transfer, modernization and development, in addition to the positive implications of this partnership on education and scientific research university, by addressing the partnership existing between the university and the industrial sector in terms of nature, justifications, reality in Algeria and its challenges, in an attempt to present a proposed vision for the development of this partnership to serve both the university and industry.

The study found that there are many challenges and difficulties that stand in the way of achieving the desired partnership between the universities and the industrial sector in Algeria, most notably the lack of interest of universities in the marketing aspect, and weak confidence of the industrial sector organizations in the university outputs of human skills, research and scientific studies.
