The study aims to identify the role of the electronic payment system in developing the activity of electronic banks.

To answer this problem, the SPSS program was relied on to analyze the data of 38 questionnaire forms, which were distributed to a sample of commercial agencies employees of the National Bank of Algeria, the Constantine branch, it was confirmed that there is a positive and significant impact of the dimensions of the electronic payment system (Physical Equipment, Technological techniques, Banking marketing and Human resources) in developing the activity of the National Bank of Algeria, while the legal base has not proven a significant impact in the dependent variable, despite the existence of the theoretical relationship.
