This research aims to know the reality and obstacles of using teachers of speech therapy to assistive technology and their relationship to some variables in Jeddah governorate.

It also aims to know the obstacles according to the research variables, which are: gender, academic qualification, years of experience, workplace, and training courses.

Hence, to achieve these goals, the researcher used the descriptive (survey) approach, as the researcher also used the questionnaire as a research tool.

Additionally, the research community consisted of all Teachers of Speech Therapy in Jeddah and they are (71) male and female teachers.

The research sample consists of (64) male and female teachers.

The research found a set of results, the most prominent of which are: A low degree of using the assistive technology by teachers of speech training, with an arithmetic average of (2.00).

Moreover, the highest assistive tool used by teachers in speech training was the picture cards, while the least assistive tool used by male and female teachers was the pneumatic air system (PAS) to measure the air flow at an “unused” degree.

The impediments degree of using assistive technology by teachers of speech training was high, with an arithmetic average of (3.66).

The most prominent obstacle facing the teachers of speech disorders training significantly was: “The lack of budgets in which is allocated to assistive technology for persons with speech and language disorders,” while the least obstacle facing them was: “The use of assistive technology” as it reduces the ability of the teacher to manage the class.
