أثر استراتيجية (Swom)‎ في تحصيل طلبة الصف الرابع العلمي في مادة قواعد اللغة العربية

Abstract EN

The current research aimed to identify the impact of Swom strategy on the achievement of fourth grade students in Arabic grammar.

The research sample consisted of students from fourth grade in the Abd Al-Aziz Secondary School for boys and Al-Marifa Secondary School for Girls in Mosul for the academic year (2018- 2019).

The sample was randomly selected with a total of 122 students distributed to four groups, two for girls received, Swom strategy and two for boys, studied in the usual way.

In order to achieve the research objective, it requires the construction of a test to measure the fourth grade students in Arabic grammar, which include (30) items multiple choice of four alternatives.

The overall test was characterized by honesty, reliabity and discriminability.

After the preparation of the teaching plans, the experiment was applied by the teacher and the material school in the first course of the academic year (2018-2019) on 21/10/2018 and continued a full course of study.

After the experiment, the post-test was applied on 15/01/2019.Data were statistically treated using t-test for two independent samples.

Results showed that the results of the two trial groups were superior to those of the two groups according to the method variable.

There is also no statistically significant difference between the four research groups depending on gender variables and their interaction.
