Sefkhet-abwy was the alternate name of goddess Seshat.

This name means “seven-horned”.

This seven-pointed emblem which was appeared on Seshat's head in most of her scenes, was the origin of the name for Seshat.

Sefkhet-abwy first appeared in the reign of king Tuthmosis III (dynasty XVIII) and seemed to be more than a version of Seshat.

She was the goddess of writing and temple libraries, and was known as a scribe and record keeper in ancient Egypt.

This research aims to spot light on Sefkhet-abwy, her role in the temples and her relationship with the other deities.
