سياقات (فرح)‎ في القرآن الكريم : دراسة دلالية صرفية

Abstract EN

Since Al Quran is an epistemological treasure, I conducted this study which aims at discovering the numbers of the derivations of the Word (فرح) mentioned in Al Quran, its semantically functions, to show the richness and variety of forms in Al Quran, and generating the words with different semantic meanings, that give the Arabic strength to survive, and ability to continuous self-renewing.

I followed the inductive method to trace the verses contained the derivations of (فرح), and the analytical method to analyze the contexts of the verses to show its role in defined the meaning.

I reached to some findings such as :some of the meanings of (فرح) are: soothing the sole, and grabbing the attention to what should make people happy.

Another meaning is rejoicing and feeling relief and being gratitude.

It also has the meaning of contentment and satisfaction.

It reflects the meaning of ecstasy and overwhelming to the material things, Other meanings of (فرح) are gloat, arrogance and snobbery.

The derivations of (فرح) were mentioned 22 times in the holy Quran,16 times as verb forms, 6 as nouns.
