Abstract EN

This paper aims at studying the linguistic standards that help in understanding Qur'anic narratives through necessary literal conception of the intended meanings of Qur'anic utterances unless there be an indication sustaining metaphorical interpretation.

This includes consideration of linguistic rules and styles in conceiving Qur'anic narratives.

The study also indicates the importance of investing Arabic rhetoric in understanding Qur'anic narratives through probing artistic description, rhetorical devices, repetition, synonymy, and concurrence of the same utterances in the different narratives.
