Abstract EN

The study aims to investigate the correlated relationship between logical- deductive thinking and creative thinking.

A sample is represented in (400) distinguished high school students, male and female, from the fourth grade of secondary school.

The deductive logical thinking scale has been constructed, and the creative thinking test of Sayed Khairallah (1975) has been adopted.

Both scale and test have been submitted to the validity and reliability processes, and then data have been collected and processed statistically.

The results show that distinguished high school students have a high level of logical deductive thinking and middle-level creative thinking.

Furthermore, there is a significant correlated relationship between logical- deductive thinking and creative thinking.

There is a significant difference in the relationship according to the gender variable in favor of females.

Accordingly, several conclusions, recommendations, and suggestions are set forward
