A responsible person needs to know the value of the obligations that he acts upon, and are they correct from the point of view of Sharia (Islamic Law)? It requires him to take a practical and theoretical stance regarding his following of the mujtahid (the Islamic Jurist), and what is the nature of the accountability for him if his mistake becomes evident? Is he responsible, or does he deny responsibility for him, by moving in the legislative void spaces guaranteed to the mujtahid? Hence, the issue is closely related to taqlid (imitation), and is it possible to excuse or not excuse the imitator, based on the liability and excuses, which are in the place of acknowledgment of error in the face of the question: is he accountable for the error or not? This question is answered by the research.
