Abstract EN

Al-Omari’s lineage goes back to Omar Bin Ali Bin Abi Talib (pbuh) whose family lived in Basra in which he educated and then left for Mosul.

Al-Omari followed his father’s approach to caring for lineages, especially the Alawite ones, and he made unremitting efforts to find the truth about them.

Many regions of the Islamic world heard from the sheikhs of the Alawite gentlemen in order to prove the genealogy, revise it, and push the intruder into it.

During his trips that included areas other than Basra, Mosul, including Baghdad, Kufa, and the cities of the Euphrates, the Levant and Egypt, he arrived on one of his trips to Amman, and he was taught by a good number of genealogists of his time, and he also sought help from some sources interested in the Alawite lineage, including his book which he revised, he awarded it to the chief of the Alawites in the Fatimid state, the glory of the state, and named him by his meritorious name in the lineages of the students.
