Yussry El Guendy is considered to be one of the most distinguished pioneers who was inspired by the Egyptian cultural heritage in his plays.
Yussry El Guendy's style was highly influenced by the Egyptian symbols and archetypes that endow the characters of the scarecrow, the clown, the orator, and folktales and epics with their vivid style that is exemplified in his masterpiece, 'Al-Helaleya'.
