Abstract EN

Persia has undergone a big political, economic, and administrative crisis after the murder of Nader Shah Al-Aqsharey in 1747 AC as a series of internal wars and insurgencies took place and have a big impact on state stability as well as many had claimed the throne of the state.

This lead to the assassination of each other of those who claimed throne.

Till then, one of the Zend family was ascended the throne; his name is “Kareem Khan Al-Zend”.

He was able to unify the country and restore the normal situation, but after his death in 1779 AC, wars resumed again which in turn had weaken the state.

This was reflected on the situation in the Arabian Gulf states particularly on Bahrain which was under the Persian Throne at that time.

Those wars in Persia gave Bahrain the opportunity to declare independence from the Persian state and was governed by the rule of Al-Khalefa clan.
