Abstract EN

The paper studies the relations of the United States with Brazil during the Second World War (1939-1945).

Because of the weight that Brazil represents on the population level.

In addition to that it is among the largest countries that occupy a large area in the South American continent and the only one that speaks Portuguese.

Therefore, the United States focused its efforts to strengthen its relations with Brazil, especially at the military level, and a desire to make use of its natural resources to serve the war effort.
