Abstract EN

This paper studies the human rights in the time of war according to the Prophet Muhammad's (peace and blessings be upon him) standards.

Following these standards, even if war was an inevitable thing, warrior has not to shed blood unless olutely necessary.

Also he has not to spend money without good reason.

It is also forbidden to burn enemies, drown them or mutilate of their corpses.

The study concluded that Islam preceded international efforts to protect human rights during wartime by fourteen centuries.
