Abstract EN

This research intends to consolidate the prose poem competence for studying and analyzing in the light of semiotic approach because it is based on technics of standard language which has hidden more than declared.

It also tends to use a large amount of implied signs of revelation and significance so it can be a suitable pattern for the features of semiotic approach that may appear.

We select a long prose poem " Jana'ain Adam " from the collections " Jana'ian Adam and other poems " by the Iraqi poet Akeel Ali so as to know the most important and effective features of semiotics in prose text analyzing which have the most important sayings of semiotic approach in texts analyzing.

We assigned the first research for the semiotics of the title and it's extentions scope in the parts of the poetic text.

The second deals with the semitics of the poetic image described as a productive sign for significance and the third research is for the semiotc square with it's relations.

There's also a conclusion that shows the most important results of the research.
