Abstract EN

The problem of the current research is summarized by identifying the measurement of communication skills of children with autism through the scale prepared for the research, and the importance of the research lies in shedding light on the theoretical literature that is concerned with developing communication skills in children with autism, the research dealt with an important aspect of a group of people with special needs who need to extend a helping and assistance.

The current research aimed at measuring the communication skills of children with autism, and the research sample consisted of (135) male and female children who were existed in Basrah centers.

The researcher built a scale for verbal and non-verbal communication skills, which consisted of (38).

The results were the calculated T value ( 0.967) and it is not statistically significant at a significance level (0.05).
