Abstract EN

The study aimed to evaluate the performance of secondary school principals in the State of Kuwait in light of Balanced Scorecard dimensions from the teachers' point of view, and the effect of variables (gender, years of experience, academic qualification) on that, the study used the descriptive approach, the data were collected through a questionnaire included (40) statement distributed on four dimensions applied to a sample of (374) teachers in the secondary stage.

The results showed that the performance of secondary school principals in the State of Kuwait as a whole in light of the Balanced Scorecard dimensions came in the following order: student satisfaction, followed by internal operations, then after learning and growth, and finally, the financial dimension, all of which came to a large extent.

The results indicated that there are statistically significant differences at a level of significance (0.05) between the averages of the study sample about the financial dimension due to gender variable in favor of females, while there are no differences about the other dimensions of the scorecard.

The results also showed that there are differences in all dimensions of the Balanced Scorecard due to the two qualification and years of experience variables in favor of postgraduate studies and (1-5 years).
