Abstract EN

The basic tendency of literature throughout its development is the presentation of facts within the limits of daily life.

Poetry is one of the forms of expression for a person.

Poetry at various levels has a position of exist- ence, and through this position features are defined, artistic and intellectual features emerge, phenomena are diagnosed.

About this poet And with the symbolism of his poem, “Own the future”, because of the renewed intellectual content in this text, so the study was entitled: (The symbol in a poem - Say Jidr and do not say Qidr).

It contained three researches, the first was under the title of the symbolism of place and time.

The second was religious and personal symbol, and th third was the symbolic image.

Then the study ended with a conclusion that the symbol has a multi-faceted vision in this text, and goes beyond the apparent forms such as (Jidr) to the inner life such as (generosity), and it is not isolated from people, as the poet leans on the space of this text to transmit symbolic glimpses Elected (place, time, religion, personal), to give the text the desired symbolic energy, and then after that a list of sources and references.
