This research work is focused on discovering opportunities for m-Learning with mobile phones especially in the area of Somalia.

The research was conducted in Mogadishu University which is located in Mogadishu, the Capital city of Somalia.

Data were collected from students of five faculties, namely the Faculties of Computer Science & Information Technology; Arts and Humanities; Education; Health Sciences; and Engineering, using survey.

This research work aims to investigate university students' readiness to utilize mobile learning.

About 150 undergraduate students from the above-mentioned faculties of Mogadishu University participated in answering the distributed questionnaire.

They were asked about the availability of devices, about their willingness to use m-learning, their expectations of how M-learning would work and their thoughts about the obstacles that might hinder M-learning.
