Abstract EN

This paper entitled “Education on values is the basis for the development of societies throughout history” is meant to remind us of the importance of virtuous values and morals which are associated with true education.

The latter gives birth to men of vision who assume responsibility, and who give it the due value it deserves.

They push the country to progress, development and prosperity.

They seem also to be open to others in order to cooperate for the common good benefiting from it in the scientific and technological field.

Besides, men do their best to spread the values of security and peace in all parts of the world.

The paper aims at addressing the issue of education on values during the different academic stages by trying to answer the many questions related to this topic, such as: What is meant by education on values? What is its legitimacy? What are the values that promote the profile of individuals, families, societies and nations? Finally, which place do virtuous values occupy in the educational programs in this era?
