The study deals with "Princes and Notables Schools in Egypt and Levant during the Ayyubid Age: A Historical and Cultural Study" (565 - 648 AH / 1169-1250 AD).

The study of the scientific and intellectual aspect in Egypt and Levant during the Ayyubid state is considered one of the most important aspects of life that the Ayyubids cared about.

In addition to the sultans' interest in establishing schools in Egypt and Syria, princes and notables also took care of this.

Consequently, they established schools and endowments in order to perfectly perform their role.

These institutions have played an important educational role by removing the Shiite ideology left behind by the Fatimids, replacing Sunni thought in all aspects of life.

Moreover, these institutions played a great cultural role, encompassing all political, social and cultural aspects.
