Abstract EN

This research aims to investigate effectiveness of using Unconventional Strategies based on Solving Mathematical Problems for Developing understanding geometric relationships, geometric representation & measurement among second year prep Students in Kafrelsheikh.

The research sample consisted of (60) students, divided into two groups: experimental group included (30) students who learned mathematics using some of Mathematical Problem Solving Strategies, control group, included (30) students who learned mathematics according to the usual method, one tool was used in this research: a test of understanding geometric relationships, geometric representation & measurement The results of this research showed that effectiveness of using Unconventional Strategies based on Solving Mathematical Problems for Developing understanding geometric relationships, geometric representation & measurement among second year prep Students in Kafrelsheikh.
