الصراع بين بولكيريا وإيدوكيا حول السلطة في البلاط البيزنطي، وتولي الأمور ومدى انصياع الإمبراطور لإحداهما، اتخذ هذا الصراع المظهر الديني فقد حرصت المرأتان على إظهار القداسة والديانة تقربا للشعب؛ كما اتخذ المظهر السياسي في الصراع من خلال جذب كل منهما لعدد من المؤيدين والأتباع من بين الحاشية ليدعموا سلطاتهما وتأييد واحدة منهما ضد الأخرى فضلا عن تنفيذ المؤامرات والدسائس ضد بعضهما.
Abstract EN
The struggle between Pulcheria and Eudocia over power in the Byzantine court, and took over matters and the extent of the emperor's compliance with one of them, and this conflict took on the religious aspect, as the two women were keen to show holiness and religiosity to bring people closer; and the political aspect of the struggle was taken by the presence of each of the supporters and followers from Between the entourage to support their powers and support one against the other and the implementation of conspiracies and intrigues against each other.
