The (brittle) behavior of concrete, although used in many fields, impedes its use insome applications that require (flexible) behavior, wherefore several types of fiberswere utilized among them polypropylene fiber (PPF), that enhances pre-cracktensile strength, toughness, ductility performance, impact resistance, flexuralstrength resistance, and failure mode.
This paper submits a comprehensive reviewof previous studies that discussed the properties and performance of utilizing PPFin normal and high strength concrete, recycled aggregate concrete and hybrid fiberconcrete.
